Als Sohn eines Architekten und einer Designerin bin ich am 23.03.1972 in Rom geboren und habe eine jüngere Schwester; Abitur machte ich 1992 an einem humanistischen Gymnasium in Bayern. Nach der mittleren Reife ging ich ein Jahr in Südengland auf ein Quaker Internat (Sidcot School).
Nach meinen Jurastudium bis zum ersten Staatsexamen habe ich am Sprachen- und Dolmetscher Institut in München (SDI) als Quereinsteiger das Studium zum Übersetzer in der halben Zeit abgeschlossen. Anschliessend folgte ein Aufbaustudium in Web und Software Lokalisierung. Nach einem Jahr Arbeit als Webdesigner ging ich für das Masterstudium mit Stipendium nach Middlesbrough an die University of Teesside.
Seit 2005 bin ich bei Herzog + Partner Architekten in München angestellt.
Mein Tätigkeitsbereich umfasst hier unter anderem Übersetzen, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Erstellung und Organisation von Publikationsmaterial, Pflege der internationalen Kontakte, Archivierung und Datenmanagement.
Seit 2009 arbeite ich auch selbstständig als Kommunikationsberater.
Gelebt und gearbeitet habe ich in England, Italien und Mexiko.

I was born in Rome on the 23rd March 1972 as the son of an architect and an industrial designer, and I have a younger sister. I took my final secondary-school examinations at a classical grammar school in Bavaria in 1992. At the age of 16 I went to a Quaker boarding school (Sidcot School) in North Somerset, UK,  for one year.
After studying law to the first state exam I went to a language school in Munich (SDI) where I was admitted straight to the second year classes, which allowed me to take my final exams after only half the time. This was followed by a postgraduate course in Web and Software Localisation. After one year of working as a webdesigner I was offered a place in the master course in multimedia applications at the University of Teesside in Middlesbrough, UK, for which I also received a scholarship.
Since 2005 I have been employed by Herzog + Partner Architects in Munich. Among other things my work for them comprises translations, public relations, international communications, production and management of publication material, archiving and data management.
Since 2009 I have been working as a freelancer in the field of communication consulting.
I lived and worked in the UK, Italy and Mexico.
